Telstra's head of Regulatory Dr Tony Warren says Telstra's regulatory submission as part of the NBN process clearly demonstrates that structural separation of Telstra will not work and that Telstra has been supported in this view by five leading world experts.
In a podcast interview with nowwearetalking Chief Editor, Jeremy Mitchell, Dr Warren says there needs to be regulatory certainty if the NBN is to work both for the successful bidder and those who will ultimately be wholesale customers.

Time to put up or shut up on FTTN

Telstra's head of Regulatory Dr Tony Warren says Telstra wants the Government to impose an application fee and bonds on potential bidders for the FTTN tender, and set out other quantifiable benchmark criteria for the required technical and financial capabilities of the proponents.

Telstra's trip to the future of health

Telstra has been the buzz of Australia's health community this week after giving Australia's peak medicos a preview of the shape of networked health in the 21st Century.
Latest technology from around the world went on display in the Telstra Experience Centre in Sydney as part of the Telstra Business Health launch.
Technology partner Alcatel Lucent flew in a team from France to show off its up and coming new products including 21st century stethoscopes and blood pressure readers - allowing doctors to more accurately check and analyse vital symptoms, graphically project readings on charts and get a second opinion from specialists anywhere in the world.
Telstra Business GMD, Deena Shiff, was interviewed on Charles Wooley's Across Australia programme about the products and how they will benefit the Australian community.

Lawyer Peter Waters is internationally recognised as a leading expert on telecommunication policy and has advised several European governments, the Canadian government and has worked extensively in the USA and Asia.
Telstra has released a detailed submission to the ACCC outlining major problems with the G9 scheme. Mr Waters worked with Telstra on its submission and says G9 poses a great risk to Australia.
